The Strengthening Citizens Resistance against Prevalence of Corruption (SCRAP-C) is the pillar 2 of DFID Nigeria’s Anti-Corruption in Nigeria (ACORN) programme. The aim of the of SCRAP-C is to influence and interrogate the social norms and attitudes that help corruption thrive in Nigeria with a view to effecting a social change.
To achieve SCRAP-C, the programme supported a well-targeted, adaptive and innovative project that is aimed at influencing social norms and attitudes on corruption and building public demand for anti-corruption. It focus on social marketing to create an environment that discourages corruption, civil society educational campaigns on corruption, and citizen engagement initiatives.
